that's because, although he lost and got cornered in the end, it was all new and way better than what he had up to that point, it turned from bad to exhilarating.

Considering that, Rock, let's say, was inspired by the character Arsenie Lupin from the Lupin III series, and that Rock is as womanizing (hangs out with several women) as Lupin even though Rock's outfit is similar to Joker's outfit from Persona 5.

It is somehow logical that Lupin as a ghost thief manages to escape the police, so did Rock.

And it remains to be seen if Iruma's ring and the key in Jazz's hand made some kind of resonance.
