I do think that they will end up there at some point...whether it is now or a later arc. If they are to leave this area now they will go back to the door as it is VERY important for Iruma as he will need to get over his trauma at some point. It also helps that Ameri is interested in some aspects of the human world and their culture...plus her mom may be from the human world so she can meet her.

I know the theory was probably floated a while ago, but I would love if Ameri's mom is the one who wrote First Love Memories and Iruma was the assistant. The story was based on her experiences with Henri in the world between and then she ended up on the other side in the demon world for awhile with Henri (and her books) and had to be brought back to the human world by Henri as it was unsafe for Merize.

Not that it excuses it, but Iruma wouldn't be in the demon world if not for his parents abusing him.

We've seen it now, it'll have to come into play when Iruma is inevitably called out on being a human, not just to the misfit class or the school, but the whole of the demon world, most likely through some large-range speaker magic, he'll be forced back by the border patrol and the misfit class will bring him back and we'll learn that Delkira is also human

As a reminder, several arcs ago Iruma discovered that Kiriwo knows he was a human, and would potentially expose his secret to his friends so that Kiriwo could eat him.

And despite all that, the human world frightened him even more than that.

I wasn't expecting Bachiko and Mephistopheles to jump in to the rescue, but I guess you do need a high-ranking demon who knows how to be summoned to the human world and come back -- probably Mephisto's role. You know, for the plot.

But I think it's good for Iruma to march into the human world, face his fears and make peace with them. That would be great character development. Also, he can finally properly summon Kalego sensei in the human world. Wait, now I want to see that!
