Remember, Iruma has been wounded before and bled in front of a demon before.

I think that demons only fall for the temptation when they think that human blood will make them super powerful, when in reality I think it just heals all demonkind.

Can you explain the zionism connection to me? You mentioned the many-ears tribe before, but it’s not quite comíng into focus for me, the connection. I suppose it’s reminiscent of pre-kingdom establishment, and that would be major propagandic themes, but both pieces are too far in the rear-view to be confident.

The history of the many ears is a pretty heavy-handed allegory for our people's history. It's a lot of "if you know, you know" stuff all throughout the series, how it ramps up in what ways...
Look at the timing for that arc and what was in the news. Not great!
