Imagine doing all this just to get your paws on the human Iruma, but then it turns out that Iruma rejecting his humanity in front of Jojo Gyro Zeppeli Alikred back in chapter 421 wasn't a one-off, and that he's already biologically a demon, if not half-way there. His "human" form is now just his "power saving" mode, and he's perfectly capable to "devil trigger" back to the form he showed in chapter 421 any time he wants.

...would be funny.

Reminds me of that other time another human who attends a school in the demon world fully rejects his humanity for his loved one(s) after some time of pretending that he's one of them with the feats (assisted by his own group of secret keepers) to prove it.

I get the feeling that it’s “killing two birds with one stone” tactic.

The six fingers are getting rid of shida for betraying them. So they get narnia to arrest/kill her.

Let’s not forget iruma is there. No doubt he would use his blood to save shida life, which will expose narnia that he is a human.

Remember narnia knows iruma is human, but doesn’t have proof. By having iruma using his blood to save shida life. Narnia will have proof and arrest both iruma and shida.

That's honestly my expectations. Under the guise of having her protect Iruma from Narnia, Baal likely opt to have Narnia dispose of Shiida. After all, there's no reason why Baal would expect a single member of his team to stand up to Narnia when it comes to protecting Iruma.

But by having Shiida go to Iruma, who likely won't be near the teachers, Baal could have her isolated so that Narnia could quickly dispose of her, before Babylis gets the chance to capture and question Shiida.

As for the reason, I'd say it's simply because Baal's aware of Shiida's affection and knew that it was getting to the point that she'd betray them for the sake of Iruma.

I wonder if she's going to get adopted by Sullivan as another guardian for Iruma. That'd be one way to save her at least.

Edit: is the idea of shiida staying around Iruma to play off of his pre-existing fondness for her, and to put him as human to the world at large? ...oh no.

It's always unusual to see explicit violence in this manga bc it's usually so chill (not that I mind, but you get the point). I think that the increase in violence and dangerous situations is a sign that the manga is reaching its climax; Iruma might be deported (lol) soon

Funny thing, in the server where I usually scream about Mairuma developments, there's actually someone reading the manga for the first time! Luckily they didn't pay much attention to my previous Mairuma posting since they had zero context for any of it, but now that they do I can't really talk about major events there anymore until they're caught up.
