Someone needs to gag this deity. She's just saying whatever she wants at this point without any regard to what comes next. I know she's being deceived but I feel like being saved ONCE should not make you think a guy is Demon King material, no matter how handsome and smooth talking he is.

I've got a bad feeling that Baal is going to take the throne very quickly and we're essentially going to have Iruma and the Misfits (and Ameri and others) going up against a guy who all demons are meant to follow.

Assumedly, the Demon King's commands are not so much a "force" but more just "he is the king, we do as he says." So basically he can't FORCE them to follow but their very nature makes them want to follow the Demon King. In which case, Iruma would be the perfect foil to him being someone who people choose to follow by virtue of his actions and not his title.

Wow, I didn't expect my decision to continue skipping over the latest chapters was this good of a decision: I know i wouldn't be this comfy if I actually read all the stressful stuff that has happened ever since we left the flashback with Amelie's parents.

She has power but as others have said, she's young and dumb and really shouldn't be allowed to have so much power at her current level of maturity. She's essentially rigging an entire presidencial candidacy system for her husbando.

A lot of people are calling Shura stupid, but I can't really agree with that? She's a coddled and sheltered kid who's probably like... 10 years old, mentally? The thing Baal rescued her from was probably the literal, actual, indisputable Worst Thing To Ever Happen To Her In Her Entire Life, and with such limited worldly experience you can't really blame her for not seeing through it. Especially since Baal is good at manipulating people! It's hard for ADULTS to catch him on his bullshit (after all, he's gotten into a position of major political power) much less some kid whose probably never even been lied to before (because who would EVER lie to a deity).

Basically she's "stupid" not out of ignorance or foolishness, but just naivete. It's not that she refuses to learn, it's that she's never been taught.

As I type this, I realize: she has to have like, attendants, tutors, family, SOMETHING??? keeping an eye on her, right? Where are the deity adults going "Your Highness... this Baal is not to be trusted... Do not let him sway you..." who is letting this happen??? What is going on with deities???????????

But yeah my point is the real issue is that she's even been given this position of power in the first place by the structures of deity and demon society. If it didn't happen to her, it would've happened to another young deity since apparently no one bats an eye at giving them a ton of power and then not safeguarding against manipulation. For some reason. Seriously what is going on.

And it is a problem for Iruma that Baal is right about the crest being kind of bullshit as a law

I would like a more authoritative figure of Princess Shura to appear, like Shura's mother/father/uncle/aunt, and see through Baal's good Samaritan mask and somehow see from a distance what actually happened at Deviculum. And as a side note, I hope my hypothesis that Thoth could be Shura's uncle becomes true.

My alternative theory would be that Clara's father is actually a deity and in the past he could have had some kind of adventure and after that adventure Shura came out, and after Clara's father met Clara's mother, and that's how Clara came out plus the rest of Clara's brothers and sister.

Although if Baal becomes the demon king, the demon world will fall into chaos as he wants, and maybe Naberius Narnia aka Fenrir will be like a kind of secretary/right hand man for Baal, because Naberius Narnia aka Fenrir can create an ideal world that he wants and say that this is on the orders of the demon king Baal.
