I think it was that orias was always self conscious, that all he has got is luck and without it he is a nobody, when he lost that chess match it was like confirming his worries, later when he sees how the trio still working to keep the place in a good shape for him to return to and how much they admire him he understands even if luck is all he have as long as these kids keep looking up to him he will continue or so I thoughtWhile I wholeheartly enjoyes the arc, and all the hype moments, am I missing something...? It's not clear in English, but in that one big panel of him with the gun to his head, the huge SFX says "CLICK." He didn't just suddenly regain confidence, he shoots himself with the one blank first, realizes he still has his amazing luck, then goes into performance mode and ricochets the remaining 5 bullets into the ceiling.does shooting the bullets at the ceiling count as luck tho?
