I liked the reference to Azz-kun in human form but for the main manga series as a student at Babyls like Iruma and Clara having human form. When in fact both Azz-kun and Clara are both demons in the main manga series, only Iruma being the only human in that series.


Also Azz-kun in this series effectively mutilated himself, because Azz-kun wanted to make it seem like Azz-kun had actually been punished by Iruma for his attempted betrayal.


Possibly Azz-kun initially wanted to shoot himself because he no longer has anyone to count to or possibly Azz-kun initially wanted to shoot himself because he is worthless.

Azz wondering if things would have different; imagining himself, Iruma, and Clara in school; that just broke me.

Love how Azz Azz resembles his evil cycle state when he puts fire on his face, and the mix color of red and blue flames, that he and Balam experimented on to create the beautiful flower flame for Iruma in the main story iirc. Such a work of art!

I think in this universe, we see Wicked Iruma whenever he's truly acting like a mafia boss, such as we saw when he demanded Azz show his loyalty to him

As far as I remember Nishi said something about Azz-kun coming out or something like that Nishi said in one of his interviews.

i think this one just represents Azz in the main story trying to control his evil phase just to grow stronger to protect iruma

I think this is the first chapter that demonstrates how different Mafia Iruma is from normal Iruma. Until now, M!Iruma had more or less the same feelings and behaviors of the OG, but with this "vow of loyalty" of Azz-Azz and Iruma himself asking for it, shows how much this Iruma is affected by the underworld.

He's still compassionate and kind, but now there's room for a harsher version of those characteristics, as shown in this chapter.
