Damn, the way Alice showed his loyalty was Metal as Fuck but was also the only way for him to prove his loyalty in this kind of setting without pulling a Naruto and using talk no jitsu. Plus the nod towards the main story universe was such a pleasant add-on that I just couldn't stop smiling!

Also slight side note: since Alice's mom disappeared, I wonder if she ended up having to go and sell herself, like a prostitute or something? I mean, it'll be a bit of a connection to her main story counterpart, you know with how she was in the main story and all.

Oh shit I could totally see that, it appears shes still operating in the underworld so she could totally end up being a Madam who runs a brothel.

Yeah, I was expecting something like a stereotypical "cut off one knuckle of your finger" type of mobster punishment, and then he burned his face and was like "yeah, no, that works too". Metal as fuck indeed.

I love the parallels this manga has with the main series - Iruma is even saving Alice in both timelines!

On a related note, I wonder if Colonel Ifrit somehow survived - in the main series, his ancestor was burned to ashes by the Djinn Ifrit, only to return from those ashes wreathed in flames...and now here, his body was left in the burning auction house...

I love this, its so peak.
But two things i love about the comments are people saying how amazing this chapter is and i agree, the small detail of iruma trying to be tough but him gripping his hand to the point of bleeding is such a good detail that i missed until i saw people talking about it. The other was about how i was originally going to do ULTRAKILL reference and do THY END IS NOW which i saw no one do but i doesn’t matter cause the love and support for this is amazing and i personally cant wait to get more

Holy shit! I really didn't think Iruma would follow through this punishment in regards to Azz-kun. Throughout this spin-off, we've seen Iruma get serious sometimes but he hasn't actively harmed anyone. But the fact that he told Asmodeus to prove his loyalty and actually let him do it... I'm so shocked! I was sure Iruma would stop it since he's so soft, but I guess I was completely wrong about him holy fuck
