It's rather interesting how different these characters are to their main counterparts.

Alt Ameri grew up impoverished and orphaned, unlike Main Ameri who was quite privileged. Although they're both hard-hitters, Alt Ameri is far more impulsive compared to Main Ameri who seems more cool-headed.

Alt Clara lost her family while Main Clara still has hers. Both love their families but their ideals differ and so do their personalities. Alt Clara is more confident and bold and while clueless at times, she's actually way smarter than Main Clara who is more lax and smooth-brained.

It's good writing, it's just a sucky situation, and it sucks that it's plausible.

Alice-kun has directly acknowledged that he's way too old to actually be any closer with Iruma and Clara than he already is, aside his (admittedly weird) devotion to Iruma as a guiding light, he's just a close associate.
