They haven't explained that yet, but back in the main series during Kalego's first home visit is when they revealed that Opera originally had black hair while at Babyls.

Except the white horns and the knife ears, there isn't much resemblance to the one we know in the main series. Maybe it's a translation error or preluding to new information! The black hair and limpid eyes aren't relative, and I think the author usually shares more design choices if they're family members.
