I feel like this scene was supposed to be a big dramatic scene, and it kind of fell flat. For one thing, I don't remember the last time Iruma used his healing blood aside from its first appearance in the race scene, so it feels like he's had this power the whole time, and just started using it now. It's not like this arc was about learning or mastering this power. It also feels like this power was unearned- he has it just by being human. To be fair, it makes sense that since Iruma lacks the experience his classmates has from living in the demon world, he has to abuse every advantage he gets, like special human powers or his grandfather's ring. Also, this arc has a theme about Iruma's identity- wanting to be a demon to fit in, being afraid of being discovered as a human, but also being better at archery because of his humanity, so this fits in with that theme. I'm still hoping that Iruma has a satisfying confrontation with the second place guy, though.
EDIT: I do like Clara and Azz resisting running to Iruma's side though. They'd cheapen his win if they helped him, and it'd feel bad if they're score suffered because of it.
