I think Sabro's father knows something about both the demon king prophecy and his brother's true intentions, but he's for some reason unable to help more than just giving the warning in the most unhelpful way possible.
I actually think so far Sabro's a pretty decent candidate (especially in comparison to the other 2 grand kids), if it weren't for the MC would be rooting for him.

Hmm. I wonder if Sabro would accept his uncle's help or does he want to get there entirely on his own merit? He loves the stories of the demon king, but those are just stories, simplified to not show the wider context and/or the behind the scenes machinations. In a lot of ways, he's an idealist. Still, should he become a candidate, I do wonder how that will change his relationship with Iruma.
