I like the concept the author gives of Galna. It isn't "instant" terror that are basically screamers or the monters we see in the house or phycological terror that's the ambient or mood where is obvious you shouldn't be there and should run.
Galna visually doesn't have anything "scary" or bad that tell you to run, it even looks pretty or beautiful and make you wanna see her. YET your insticts tells you to stop looking at her or interact with the paint. It is like those moment where you feel something is really wrong despite you are living a normal day and that fills you with fear or anxiety, just that in this case you know the source and even when is "no scary" you shouldn't look at it and just run or attack it. A terror that doesn't need look "scary" to be scary, its presence is more than enough.
