It's great that each child is finding their own individual dreams, but Iruma really needs to remember a few things:
A. Not all dreams can become a reality
B. The Many-Eared tribe are in this predicament for a reason, confidence can only take them so far
C. The Many-Eared tribe have their own unique talents and skills, teach them to use that to find ways to reach their futures (don't teach a fish how to climb, if it wants to go high, then teach it how to launch itself out of the water so it can soar.)
D. Inspiring the children is great and all, but that means nothing if the parents aren't on board because then they'll just smash their confidence.
The freedom to live on your own terms includes both failure and success, but they're the choices you were able to make on your own, through your own efforts and ambition. To live freely and with dignity, that's what an ideal life is to me. Even if it hurts or it's scary, you're truly alive.

I don't disagree, my sentiment at the time was more that Iruma was ignoring the issues presented by the generational barriers and physical limitations of the tribe by trying to teach and encourage them in the same way Babyls does for him. It's a good thought, but it ignores the unique obstacles the tribe faces, especially in the face of years of those dealing with those big on maintaining the status quo and being told there's only one thing they're good at (which isn't entirely wrong, and is why they'll need to learn to approach their dreams from a different angle, much like how someone born short will find it rather difficult to play sports professionally, but could still theoretically do so if they figure out how to make the most with whatever they do have to to make up for the difference in height and build they'd be competing with, or they could find some other path to still stay connected with their dream, even if it's not in the same form.)
