It's been one chapter...the last one was Asako's birthday.
Idols was a theme since the beginning, it was a big arc of Miyako getting used being an ex-idol. The whole thing is about living in a house with a landlord, yes. With a landlord that is an ex-idol, which you left out. Did we even read the same manga or are you just being argumentative?
Why so snippy?
That was an aspect of her story, with the present day being their daily life. It was backstory, not story. There’s a difference between occasional flashbacks to establish character motivations and “the story”.
Stop being so obtuse.
What’s not in the manga right now? A WOMAN WHO LIVES IN A HOUSE WITH HER LANDLORD. That’s my point. They are not in the story anymore, as such, the story is not about them anymore. Thus, it is a story unrelated to the title, because the title is referring to them. The renting of a house with monthly rent, a garden and a landlord included, and living with said landlord.
It is now about an overworked artist who lives in a small flat, and a very famous, overworked idol. They do not live together.
Nothing about the story is similar. I’d have read the spin-off. I’m reading this, but it should be a spin-off.
What is with your attitude? “There is a tired trope. Here are some examples. This is less bothersome than others, but it’s got some of that, too. It’s also a different story, now. A story unrelated to the title.”
”The former main character used to work with this current main character. You ever-so conveniently left that out when you mentioned the change in subject veering from what the title is. You can’t even read!” Classy, kiddo.
edit: replaced a period with a question mark.
