Why would sand dragons taste good? They're big scaly lizards with sand between their scales that live in low humidity areas. Their limbs would be especially hardy since birds and the like actually depend mainly on their ground limbs to launch them into a glide so there's probably not going to be a lot of fat to give them flavor.

@AncientWatcher not really. The horn is part of KB which houses pure magic so what you're suggesting would just make KB horn useless after extraction as the part you're getting is artificially made. Also KB uses it for his lightnings just like a typical lightning rod.
