YayyyThanks for the chapter.
Fun fact, this series is getting an official english translation.
Welllll... Given that you're talking about the timeframe of only a couple of days where everything takes place in up until now..To me it feels like the author/artist is trying to speedrun the work. No downpace, constantly pushing. Really hard to stay engaged.
The problem isn't the content, but its presentation, which is detached with the story in and of itself. It's 100% a pacing issue.Welllll... Given that you're talking about the timeframe of only a couple of days where everything takes place in up until now..
MC is shellshocked, running on nerves and denial, and coping with crisis after crisis off the cuff because he has no choice but to do so.
Most people would have turned into a gibbering nervous wreck by now, facing this or similar. No guarantee if the MC still won't, given some very subtle-unsubtle hints in the writing/drawing, but for now he's still in Survival Mode, and ....functioning... barely.
The pace is so frantic because the situation... is. This is not a Nice Fluffy Story...
Yeah I'd say it needs to slow down but only slightly like if we took another chapter length to get here. The problem isn't the content, but its presentation, which is detached with the story in and of itself. It's 100% a pacing issue.
From what is shown the witch uses "curse" magic, whereas humans use the more "standard" elemental/spirit magic.I still dont understand their world, there is magic but is it different than a witch magic?
Honestly, I think the first chapter should have been way more stretched out and more focused on the town. And maybe him searching for the witch and fighting her should have been an entire arcThe pacing is really really fast, i couldnt process what was happening in ch. 1, there is at least 3 things that happened in only 1 ch or maybe more, i don't know if the author will change the pacing but if not, damn there is a huge turn off for me, but i like the art though, i like the witch also
