Welp, time to put your bets in! Who gets rescued, the orcs or the elves?

An elf does a mission to eliminate orcs? Note sure if she will get porked or forked. 🤣

Yeah, that makes sense if that’s what the story was going for, since Will was going “Is she really evil” back when all any of the characters knew of her was that she was interested in necromancy and possibly involved in the slaughter and subsequent zombification of a whole town. She went astray from good intentions, and the tragic part is that, nothing exceptionally tragic happened to her; her world view and morals were simply left to develop on their own in those circumstances and no one ever bothered to properly guide her.

It’s weird that MC thought her being friends with Filia could possibly have changed things. I mean, I don’t get the thought process he went through to get to that thought.

@keioskod he probably thinks filia is why he didn't choose a similar path; it's probably more the concept of a childhood friend to keep her company despite her negligent family.

"she had a hard time, let's feel sorry for her even though she massacred entire villages!" FUCK NO!

Not again... I would go to other sites to see what's (most likely) coming.

@Makinbaconpancakes Amen, and my respect for this went up tenfold when the princess basically said "I like him, but I won't throw my life away for him and won't ask him too either.". If there could a be a no drama, one-girl romance ending, it would be perfect.

Still think the villain and all this boo hooing sucked.

Edit: Changed my mind. Keep the romance out unless it's at the end.

Honestly I find it weird that these people constantly question if this is justice by killing this chick. It is absurd. Yes you can certainly blame her the circumstances surrounding her and she just wanted to bring her pet back and not be a replacement. However she still murdered an entire village for research and showed absolutely no signs of remorse or regret for her actions and it is somewhat hypocritical of her saying she doesn't want people being replaced yet killing them and replacing them with undead.

Questioning morality and justice works well if we are talking about war or somesuch where evil deeds can be committed by both sides but I find it dumb that someone constantly questions their own justification when confronted by a mass murderer especially since they directly saw the results of her madness with the village a few chapters ago. It would be like if I shot Hitler, Stalin or Mao and said "Am I truly in the right?" with the full knowledge of what these people had done. Honestly the author probably should of just had the party feel bad about the chick after reading her book and finding about her circumstances but coming to terms that she was a mass murderer and had to be stopped as that is absolutely justified.

If the author wanted this whole justification thing he should of kept the chick in a moral grey area such as killing bandits for research purposes and the party confronting the ethics on necromancy and the conflict can start from there. Rather than a complete moral bankruptcy when she murdered an entire village. It just make the party weak if they question themselves all the when they kill people who do unjust violence unto others.

Take the hint Will. 😂

Nice to see a romance that doesn't fall into the damn harem tropes and their reflection about what they did.

ps: Bet the elf team is a bunch of weirdos.

Dude, we still don't know how long orc pregnancy is. We are sure about one thing: Goblin pregnancy is fast af! Still funny how some goblins can evolve to ogres and beyond. But not our goblin girl. She stays Pikachu for live.

It's okay to lament someone's past without condoning their recent actions.

It's also human nature to think about what could have been if something had been different.

@Arkos Technicaly, if her ressearch were successfull, the whole village could have been brough back so you can indeed question the justice of the whole situation.

@NamelessSoldier Exactly. I don’t get why that’s so hard to understand for some of the people complaining about them being “sympathetic.” Unless you have no emotions and/or are mentally unstable, you’re not going to just go, “welp, I guess that’s it,” after killing somebody, even if they were evil. For the most part, we question our actions everyday, so I don’t get why it’s so hard to understand why someone would question their course of actions after killing someone.

Man, the way they bounce off each other is really entertaining. You could probably make a slice of life series based on their relationships alone, good job by the author to make the reader care about their characters this much.

Thanks for the chapter~

@Arkos Well if you think about it she must have thought something like this if she was able to succeed with her research and really bring the dead to life then she could also bring the villagers that she had killed back negating her bad action well its pretty stupid way of thinking but still if that is how she view it i kinda understand the logic still pretty stupid. This way of thinking is similar to Nox from Wakfu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKNCEPdbJ0c

@Thoughtgap that would be awesome
