This would be the best outcome by far. Ch2 did show that she is incredibly wildly easy and naive so her blushing and thinking about our MC so much this chapter simply is only because of them spending time together.
She clearly is in love with Ei-kun and does all this stuff in front of MC. Being in love with both of them would be rather greedy and unfair

Our MC and Takabi have also been set up nicely with a great dynamic and different character when with him.

My own perception is pretty much the opposite: she isn't in love with Ei, she never was, she just has affection for him owing to their long years of friendship, in a way that's easy to mistake for love. She's built up an idea of Ei in her head as her ideal boyfriend, and she's contorting herself to fit into a vision of ideal girlfriend for him.

Whereas she interacts with Kimura more naturally, and has genuine fun hanging out with him. That's why she's in the process of falling in love with him, and end up with him.

Page 29 so accurate, also im glad to see a development on kawashimas part and she reminds me of "love is war kaguya" with that hand gestures of her when she plays tsuntsun. And i lost it when ei hold kimuras hand since kawashima didnt explain that part it was funnier. Anyway its happening way sooner than i tought but kawashima got a glimps of her feelings on her future husband.
