"ex-boy soldier" implies trans soldier
The lack of a gender swap tag makes me think they meant "ex-soldier boy" or the like. I wish people would learn to use modifiers correctly.

smh, kids these days. "boy soldier" is treated as a single noun, with the "ex-" prefixing the whole compound

smh tls don't have the balls to write "former child soldier" instead of shoehorning the "ex-" prefix
TBH one of a better plots for being kicked out of a hero party, i wont say it's one of the best ones out there or that it's amazing but at least it feels somewhat different which make it not boring and worth reading, still it needs some work especially with stuff like the power of friendship beats all kind of mentality, otherwise it's honestly a respectable plot, especially what happens to the hero party after the MC get kicked was interesting.

It is complete,these 39 chapters are all 81 chapters of the light novel,whilst the web novel goes even further,albeit also has a hiatus.
Reasons always matter.
It does not matter because the light novel, the web novel and the manga are different products.
Even if it's true that the web novel has more content and is on hiatus, that does not apply to this manga. This manga is completed now if the displayed status is correct and I assume it is. If that's wrong, then forget about this 😅
Anyway, completed means that this manga won't get another chapter even if the web novel or even the light novel have or get more content. Because the manga is not on hiatus.
It basically means that this manga got axed in the middle of the story. That's why reasons don't matter, because this manga is officially a lost cause now.

You're not getting it,what we see is the complete thing,because this takes from the light novel,and the light novel only goes this far,it's an adaptation for a reason,reasons always matter.
This is all we will ever get for the comic,because that is all the light novel has to offer.
It's complete,not axed,this is how it was always going to end,and it's been that way since 2020,having done exactly what it was set out to do.
Only the web novel goes further.
