Personally, unless he's 100% confident in their capabilities to come out victorious if they went full head on against them, risking your own lives, and literally risking all the girls with you being gang raped by a hundred of these dudes, is really fucking stupid over your mansion. Hard earned money or not, unless they decide to decimate and break down the mansion, you really shouldn't be losing much. Work with the military to corner them, then return back to your home after it's safe. This is honestly retard decision. From what I've seen, he's not yet strong enough to deal with a hundred of bandits.

I agree, I'd say try capturing as many as you can so that they can be sold into slavery. Sell the women bandits who are attractive enough into sex slavery, sell the capable men into extreme hard labor where people regularly die from the labor. For the rest of them, force them to fight in colosseum type matches like gladiators did during the Roman period. Pit them against monsters for entertainment until the last of them are brutally shred to pieces by the monsters. People who commit such atrocities out of nothing but pure vile evil aren't human in my eyes. Treat them less than livestock.

If you pay attention, they do mention they destroy everything before leaving and the military has already been dispatched.
Running away, even if it's an option, would lead to a vagrant lifestyle again for a long while until they are able to get another house - it would also mean that the swords under him would not see him in a positive light.

In the end, using the house as a stronghold full of traps is the best thing he can do to not lose his house and to not lose his swords' trust. Let alone what other possible reward they might get.

it's only somewhat excusable if they don't kill and just take stuff, at least they shouldn't be killed when caught, definitly punished for it though since the food can be use for survival for winter for example

Regarding him and his swords, they trusts him ever since he only found solace in them in his previous life, all of them being in the storehouse (Almost all the majority of those swords are probably legendary and famous, used and or owned by legendary famous figures in their historical times, like with the case of Hotaru; Sakura; and Aoi; and they'd probably like to both see and be with Sou, which Aoi mentioned) (when he gained the ability to summon magic swords, those are most likely going to be the swords from the aforementioned storehouse that Aoi was summoned from)

Especially the fact he had Hotaru (and Sakura) with him and cut down his father and also how Sakura felt bad she harmed him due to his shitty father used her to kill Sou (she mentioned it when it was their alone time, around the time Frey was troubled and the sort)

I haven't been following this for a while, and I know he isn't like super tier Isekai OP harem protagonist, but he is still a OP Isekai Harem protagonist, his harem members are swords anyway so kind of hard to force them against their will in a worst case the go back to being swords, and this a group of bandits, not Dragons, Demon Lords, etc. Its a group of thugs and maybe they a couple of guys at the level of mid tier adventures, maybe one guy a little higher, but if this a threat man that's pretty sad and weak. Drop this and bring back the work with the Japanese WWII solider who solo'd like a 1000 people instead.
