It's imagination power. Normally people's magic in this world are limited to certain well defined attributes, buy he got the power to skip that and use any attribute he can imagine as long as it exists in the space around him, meaning in a desert he could'nt use water magic, but he could just invent sand magic or dryness magic. It's tied to his mana, so strong magic still drains him, but after the war with the dragons he leveled up so much that that became a non-issue. He is now a walking god basically.
