All in all, most of the issues can be blamed on the old guy. Do tell me if I'm mistaken somewhere.
All the party knows at that point, before arriving at the tower, was that Luna was captured. Before Luna arrived at the tower, Calbis/Calvis didn't even know about Luna in the first place, unless I remembered wrong. Remember, it was that old guy that originally thought to bring her to the tower.
The only reason why the dragon girl tried to "kill" her was because she felt threatened from Luna's power/strength. MC didn't even know that happened. Calvis even stopped her from going overboard. Luna is too much of a good girl to let the dragon girl die. As for the slave thing, Calbis didn't enslave Luna or even try, she asked about the slave mark Luna had. True, Calvis thought to have Luna as a hostage but she was still treated like a guest, as that's what she said. This is all before the old guy and Luna went back out to get the rest of the party. Besides, after Calbis witnessed the MC's strength, she decided to submit to him, in a way. Remember, MC's party only just arrived in the area and haven't heard much of anything seriously bad about the current demon lord.

I was going to defend the translation and typesetting as everyone starts somewhere, but I'm not defending machine translation. It's quite literally worse than a work never being translated.
Which is sad as I am actually quite fond of this manga compared to every other comment I've seen, as it gives me old 80's vibes that I rarely find anywhere else.

Dude really appreciate your efforts. Really. But this last chapter was really badly translated. I repeat! Thank you for the chapter this is awesome. Just wanted to give you an honest without lies comment on it. No judgment! A chapter badly translated is always better than no chapter at all!!
