Bittersweet story but I'm glad it ended mostly on a high note.

Oh man, the bird became an angel, and wanted to protect the man that took care of her? To remind him that life is worth living, even in the darkest days? Well, she succeeded! And at least he knows there's something to look forward to after death. Angels exist, after all!

Also, I was wondering why people kept asking about his mom, but it turned out it's not because of worry, but because his mom skipped out on payments. What an awful mother, but at least she learned her lesson and turned herself in.
