Looking at manga updates, This series has the Shoujo Ai tag and the other series has neither the Yuri nor Shoujo Ai tag so maybe that means something? I feel like manga updates is usually pretty accurate about this stuff but idk

i'm conflicted because my gut reaction is annoyance and "who the hell wants to read this kind of thing, its not the early 2000s anymore" but thinking about it i'm sure there are a lot of aro/ace people who like these not-quite-romance stories.
i just wish there was a better way to label them so the rest of us wouldn't feel cheated

This was cute. I really hope this develops into something more unlike a certain series that just ended. The flirting was always relatively one-sided in the other series, you had Sei flirting with Hina, Yuzu flirting with Hina (and lightly with Sei), this one feels more two-sided. Though the author still has a small chance to redeem themselves if they do a crossover.
