Well you could go read the WN translation to find out but if you don't feel like it the answer is once she realizes she's probably responsible for the undead she releases a purifying flower that eats rot(both the undead but also just general filth) into the river and around the edges of the forest to contain the spread.
I admit I am not much of a book reader that isn't Warhammer 40k or the Distortion Detective series. 😅
I tend to find the LN or WN of a lot of isekai boring and couldn't retain much attention. And this is also the person who skims two paragraph long Yu-Gi-Oh cards on the daily. 🤣

It's interesting how plot kinda diverged from WN. Which makes me think the plot thread raised in WN won't ever be addressed. A bit spoilery summary:
In WN his village is destroyed by same sickness as the one they just arrived to. And later it is shown that cause is water pollution caused by all the undead that have arose in the forest due to MC cursing them to death, making her basically directly responsible for the death of his village. So yeah, manga kinda tones it down a fair bit comparatively. Can't say they are wrong to do so, given general tone of the story.
I bet it's following the LN, which usually changed many things from the original WN.
