She is properly monstrous. That's nice.
Evil panda destroyed shota's village.Dont mind just making thread, also that furry boy lookin cute, eh?
These WN spoilers kin
That does sound more interesting as a narrative hook and good potential to be set up for a future plot point. It's interesting how plot kinda diverged from WN. Which makes me think the plot thread raised in WN won't ever be addressed. A bit spoilery summary:
In WN his village is destroyed by same sickness as the one they just arrived to. And later it is shown that cause is water pollution caused by all the undead that have arose in the forest due to MC cursing them to death, making her basically directly responsible for the death of his village. So yeah, manga kinda tones it down a fair bit comparatively. Can't say they are wrong to do so, given general tone of the story.
Given how it's changed in manga, I doubt it'll be addressed in WN.That is interesting to know thanks.
It'd be interesting to see this moral dilemma and how she would behave for her reckless behavior earlier.
Well, WN didn't go that far, and while so far she didn't realize that it's her who caused the massive surge in undead, she did decide to somewhat proactively fight it. And while reveal that she's responsible for all the undead will likely be a plot point, I have mild suspicion author initially didn't realize the implications between "my village died from same sickness this village has", "cause of sickness is river pollution caused by undead in the forest upstream" and "monsters that died from a curse (and mandragora scream IS a curse) eventually reanimate as undead" would lead to "she's responsible for destruction of his village".Huh. This is your fault for being born, REPENT you monster is a hell of a tone to go for.
I'd say manga didn't do a good job at relaying a rather important plot point that pivots the story A LOT. It's a pretty core thing, and would make reading further chapters more understandable. That does sound more interesting as a narrative hook and good potential to be set up for a future plot point.
Weird question, will she be able to talk normally? Or is that just not yet?
