i voted #34 Handsome Must Die because it got a couple of good laughs out of me and i think it would wrap up nicely in an anime season.
another one i wanted to vote for, Liar! Gokuo-kun, is at 5th place midway through the voting period. (actually, is the numbering in the og post the current ranking at the time op looked at the site?) i guess being a corocoro manga and therefore nostalgic to many gives it a really big boost. heck, reading just five chapters when i was younger almost made me want to give it my vote right now.

Voted for The Summer You Were There. Because it's a complete 5 tomes manga, which may bgive us a full season. And the manga is very good. Depressing, sure, but very good. The other Yuri manga are either not complete enough to have a full serie (except Aisawa), or are way too horribly disturbing for one of them. No idea about the rest, it's mostly shonen romcoms and i don't like them.

It scares me how high "I love your cruddy" is, I love that manga but seeing it animated would be scary, I also dont know how itd be received

Kitanai Kimi is concerningly high. Company & Private Life is interesting but it'll be awful animated. Youchien Wars... idk.

I'll just take my "One Within the Villainess" to the corner and pray that it gets a good studio that understands visual poetry.

Pretty sure the order was not preset, I'd ignore it. Though on a personal level I was glad to see it because of the author and how he does things.

I found this topic too late to vote. But nevermind. TBH, I'm always a bit worried when a good manga gets an anime adaptation. More than once, I saw the original creation being defiled, when not totally butchered.

A common pattern is : the anime is usually a watered-down version of the manga, which in turn is a watered-down version of the WN / LN. And since I'm not especially a LaCroix / Perrier enjoyer, I guess I'll stick to the paper version, whatever the results of the poll.
