mangadex.org not appearing in a Google search

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have been having a strange issue with this website "mangadex.org" not appearing on the first page of a google search in Australia. The website that takes the place of top search result is another website called "mangadex.top".

However while "mangadex.org" wont appear other websites related to it will. Pages such as the mangadex reddit, discord, and twitter are all top searches along with relevant github and isitdownrightnow pages. Despite this however, as stated above "mangadex.org" will not appear on the first page, nor any page for that matter.

Yeah, we have become too popular and someone has DMCA'ed our main url off google.

Ahhh gotcha. Well that pretty much solves this mystery. Bit annoying though how Mangadex gets dmca and other aggregators like mangarock (which appeared on the second google page btw) don't, considering they tend to rip official translations.

If you search Mangakakalot the worst of the worst illegal sites and still get their main Urls, it's definitely not about legality of the DMCAs and more about having an effective lawyer and resources to fight the false DMCAs.

Let me put this into perspective. Piratebay, the most infamouse pirate website. . . . . is still not DMCA'ed on google. Search it up, it's still there.

You can bypass the DMCA by adding search terms like "mangadex sayonara zetsubou" or adding whatever unpopular unlicensed or English unfriendly manga into your search. You can also use porn, niche parody manga, anything that is guaranteed not mainstream.

I use Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei because yes, a manga about Japenese puns is so unpopular in the U.S. that it was never actually defended.
