Prediction, we will be getting a Dex-chan vtuber this year. Didn't one of the staff at one point in 2023 say they wanted to actually do this? I think it was the reindeer.

If that contributes to AI-slop enjoyers having less money and thus causing generative AI to disappear, hell yeah (AI bros bleeding money is always a net positive )

When it comes to the state of MangaDex right now, the user base will shrink for both readers and scanlators.
Some will move to [redacted] because it is more like MD, and the other will move to high-seas and move to various aggregator sites (just like the good old days).
But i think MD will regaining some audience in a few years, why?? cause habit and """stability""" i guess.
Also, i hope the staff won't lock down the API anytime soon 'cause man... i mostly use Mangadex through third party apps.
Anyway, I will also predict that 🐝Big bees will get 10k bookmarks before the end of the year.
