@Xnot @EtherealNeko

Please give us a list of the titles that were removed by MD .
You said it is 59 Titles, but how many chapters have been wiped out with those titles ?
Who is this so called "legal nexus" you referred to earlier?

Who advised you not to give out a list of those titles ?
who advised you not to name the "legal nexus" ?
based on which consideration has this advice been given to you ?

will there be a point of time in the near forseeable future at which you or the next one above you in the chain of command will disclose the list and the answers to those questions above to the community?

Thank you

MangaDex is a UGC platform and upholds applicable law, including copyright law. This has always been the case, from removals like One Piece, Demon Slayer, and My Hero Academia earlier this decade, to the large removal in May 2025 and the thousands of removals since then. The company does not have data prior to April 2025, but anything since will be added to the Transparency Report in our Copyright Centre shortly: https://mangadex.org/copyright/transparency

Backfilling of the copyright take downs still hasn't happened.

It's not CP.

Period.

Trying to justify that a fictional depiction of literally anyone or anything deserves the same legal protections as actual people or objects is the height of retardation, and that's before we remind anyone that enforcing such laws means sending tax revenue over a Goddamn drawing instead of the actual predators.

If I smoke a blunt in a school in a sims game, should I be hauled off by real security?

If I runover 10 people in ambulance whilst listening "Freebird" in GTA San Andreas, should I get a lifetime sentence without parole?

If a choose the robbery path in a choose your own adventure novel,do I deserve to get beaten a cop?

If I play "One Night In Bangkok" on a xylophone, should the Thai police cross several international borders and hog tie my arse?

No?

Then if I draw a 9/90/900 year old lil' AAA cup lass whose ass is getting viciously pounded by an evil five metre long alien tentacle for hours on straight as the floor starts flooding with a 10 cm layer of glow in the dark baby batter as her five year boyfriend watches helplessly with a 50 cm hard on as a kind older elf oneesan with Z-cups smothers him, should Interpol break down my door and engage in a prolonged gunfight as SCP-████ proceeds to [REDACTED] until nothing is left?

And assuming the above occurs, which real life child is directly or indirectly harmed by that action?...save for the neighrbours, the thin walls aren't [DATA EXPUNGED] proof.

And that's why it isn't child pornography of any kind.

Like he said!
That is... very specific dawg, were you the boyfriend with the 50cal schlong watching helplessly???

Late to the party and probably beating a dead horse but I believe it needs to be repeated, this entire idea that the nsfw content is being removed for legal reasons is probably the most moronic braindead thing the mods could have said, there's no such law and you all know it

Also, if Mangadex wants to comply with the laws then the site might as well close, piracy is objectively illegal, it's the entire fucking reason why DMCA works

Honestly? I'm not sure what surprises me more, Mangadex going this direction or the idiots defending this change

Oh well, either way guess I should start getting my ducks in a row for the inevitable moment the site crashes, cause it sure will happen in time, the funny thing is that some of us expected it to happen due to more DMCA instead of suicide
