He could've used it for CP conversions.

Is it me or the author didn't think through when MC were to slay a humongous flying eagle but didn't account for the magic stone that could've given me a lot of CP rather than selling it to get a lot of mini-magic stones just to get a low CP rate conversion...?!

Sigh. This is getting annoying for some reason now...

Its annoying that he hasnt checked to see if the CP scales with the value of a stone or not. or whether the type has any affect on CP earned. He could be wasting money buying those small ones. By extension, that massive crystal may be worth far more if he used it himself, but im guessing this is a case of the author knowing the small ones are best and not bothering to have the MC check or inform the reader, its kind of a big oops in general unless the MC is just that dumb, i find it hard to believe anyone would be that dumb.

Oh, nice. Someone actually mentioned this first before me.

I was actually maddened by the fact that the author didn't even tried to create a scene where MC would compare the magic stones' rate conversions and such.
