I'd think if someone woke up in the body of the opposite sex, and given enough time, they'd have adapted - I can see it being awkward for others who discover that person's circumstances though.

I also agree with that sentiment of adapting, as well as how the new body would inevitably have some influence on the mind especially growing up from childhood.


But demon lord just struck me as having no interest at all, on top of having potential hang up with past life memories.


Like I see yakuza isekai "heroine" having more interest, and there is basically nothing there either.

This demon lord seems similar in level to Dark Lady, or even the Dad reincarnated as a villainess. Perhaps only slightly better.

This would actually make sense plot wise. It would cement Ike as a power center of the demon empire for sure. Especially if they marry and he takes the role of consort instead of king, to support the demon lord’s position.

Ike could also drop the mask at the wedding. To both eliminate that contrivance and gain human support. It won’t be over night but Ike has already built integrated communities.
But I don’t trust this author with that level of complexity.
