Poor King.
Your biography movie turned out to be LoTR: The Fellowship of the Ring for kids, that kind of movie you put on knowing you'll sleep before the good part.

@Ciello You sound like some kind of casual who's never marathoned the extended edition of the trilogy in one go, while complaining about Arwen doing a poor job stealing Glorfindel's role, and less-than-patiently explaining to the rest of the audience why "just fly the Eagles to Mordor" is an idiotic idea.

@Qelix No, the Hobbit movies had no good part.

In what world are historical documentaries interesting for young kids?
I mean, I watch that stuff sometimes, but it’s not like I can remember any of it after unless it’s about the military.

Heck, my dad uses documentaries as “white noise” for him to fall asleep to. (I can hear it through the walls.)

I'm sure some kids are interested in historical documentaries.
I mean basically all I watched as a kid were wildlife documentaries and cartoons. But I preferred the wildlife documentaries because the predators actually won sometimes. I was always cheering for the predators (and the villains in cartoons).
Historical ones probably aren't the same, but as long as there are war scenes it would probably appeal to kids, right?

Then again, I never really understood why Sir David Attenborough never joined in. Steve Irwin was much cooler. I'll never forgive that sting ray for killing him. It isn't cool when the prey wins.
