That is kind of a question, Yuki crushed the slave traders and sent those they had kidnapped home. But there was no mention of other vampires, no talk of others she knew. It almost sounds like she was the only one they captured out of the village and they just killed all the rest. She very well may have been the only child do to vampire life span.
