Everyone's doing just fine in this wholesome story, overcoming their troubles and living life, but she's there still nursing a grudge you got the idea she'd already done her part to get over--except she arbitrarily added more reasons as fuel to the flame instead, so she can keep flinging weapons like the angry disciplinary committee member she's always wanted to be (but with bloodlust). A hard past is not an excuse to act stupid in the present.
If she can't behave, just take her to the cat shelter.
