Lol not that's not what I mean at all. I mean, we're getting a tournament arc next. What I wanted was just another panel or two of struggle. Maybe a couple of panels of him pressuring her. Like everyone knew she was going to fail, but I have liked something a bit more than instafail. Not that this is bad or anything. Just wanted a little more.

Like shes the strongest and coolest but hasn't improved in whatever way the demon king wanted but she is still impressive. For her to just instantly crumble is weird IMO.

I agree with aveney41 - even if the outcome was obvious, a couple more panels of blows would've been more satisfying.

Taking a guess at Anna's weakness here... she's the most skilled among her sisters, and I'm sure no one was expecting her to be able to outright kill the demon king...
She lacks that Warrior's Spirit; to stand in the face of, and possibly overcome impossible odds.

I think the point of why it was so short wasn't that she couldn't beat him.....but she instantly lost the will to fight the moment he became her opponent. If he was just unbeatable for the current her, I can see a few panels of combat. But she didn't take out her weapon, take a stance, or anything just collapsed. He saw that and immediately failed her.

I wanted there to be more but I completely understand why there wasn't. It wasn't his job to motivate her to fight, her trial was given, her opponent was named and she lost her will. Failure as a warrior, lack of Warrior's Spirit as you said. Even Fia, the cinnamon roll of the sisters didn't change her stance even when she was told her sister would become a causality of her decision.
