There is this sense of dread surrounding her like she is hiding something important that will make MC angry / mad. She appears to be too aloof and calculating for someone who run into their love from previous life. (i say run into but it looks %100 planned at this point). And she doesn't look genuinely surprised at all that he is now a she. Probably its either related to their reincarnation or the circumstances of his death.

I like your theory but I think it would be enough for them to die in any way possible. They wouldn't need any special magic or something. The whole fate thing just kept them all together and Riri could have even died 100 years later than MC and reincarnate in earlier point in time than Ooma did. Who knows how long a soul can spend in the limbo between worlds before the person reincarnates.

I'm totally pulling those concepts out of my ass but it would have easily explained why Ooma current self is younger than current Riri.

I don't mind men in my yuri; as long as they don't compete for the same girl that the main character is pursuing. They can be friends, wingmen, harmless NPCs. But once they become rivals, I want them gone. The only rivals I want to see in a yuri, are female rivals.

I'm hoping that the "he" Riri's coworkers mentioned, is actually a she. We only saw their chin; and not the whole person. Maybe it's Ooma's assistant, Zai, and he got swapped to a girl (just like Ooma), when he (now a she) reincarnated. But maybe Zai is even more uncomfortable being a girl, than Ooma is. So she dresses like a guy, short haircut, and binds her chest. Hence why Riri's coworkers would think Zai is a guy.
