Honestly, I am pretty disappointed. At first, it seemed like it was going to be a cute and wholesome story, but this Age Gap came out of nowhere and is completely unnecessary.
She could’ve been a mysterious girl from another class, someone from another school, a girl she met at a part-time job, or hell, someone she met while exploring another part of the city for some street art. But no, it had to be some random adult woman? And shortly after meeting her, they’re already trying to go on dates.
Idk. I actually expected some kind of plot twist, like her being the mother of her best friend, with the best friend being the girl who reincarnated. That could’ve been much more interesting.
She could pretend not to remember her past life while occasionally slipping up, especially after becoming a teenager again. Things like recommending romance manga to the protagonist could secretly be her way of pushing her into think about that without directly telling her who she really is. That kind of playful teasing would’ve been way more interesting than the current setup.
It’s also convenient that everyone else is older and keeps their past-life personalities, while the protagonist is the only one who acts like a child....
I feel like it’s going to be annoying if the whole series is just the adult pretending she doesn’t remember her past life and getting her “revenge” by making the protagonist chase after her. Like, it’s not as if she ever had the courage to confess or make a move herself either.... Idk, that sounds pretty frustrating and easy for her
