In the LN, Kunai managed to mention his real name to the girls he saved in the slums. They appended the two names though, saying King Kunai and still mostly referring to him as King.

Rough MTL, but after 4 months is normal, I think the old team wil lshow up in a while with a good one.
This MTL was just what the clanker cmae up with, no proofreading or fixing the text, as it transalted Maou literally to King to say one.
We get the genral flow of the story, of course a correct TL is better.

In this arc, Kunai is mistakenly identified as King, the leader of a mercenary group Heaven's Ward, just because he made a joke on playing card names when he heard the names Jack and Spade from a group of thugs in Chapter 51.
You're right that a better TL is needed though.

This is the "old team". Unless you're referring to the group that last updated 2 years ago?
