@GurenNoOu Modern fantasy elves are usually based on Tolkien's elves and those are basically superior to humans in every way, so it was fine.
It's because of balancing role playing games elves became weaker in some aspect while for some reason preserving Legolas archery quirk, but it does not mean every fantasy writer must abide this trope.
