Well shit, COVID-22 incoming!

Also, @ZenMasters , seems legit. But I feel like a Japanese scientist is definitely going to patent catgirls first.

Also Also, @GM_Rusaku stop stalking me all over my manga and WNs! Hows the Philipines fairing with all the crap going on?

Ok, I understand that this should be a lot for the MC to take in, but his 'decision' shouldn't be that hard.

Shiramine shouldn't be struggling with the idea to genocide the demihumans.
What's done is done - the demihumans are here, they're part of the planet's population, it's ecosystem, they have so much in common with humans - heck, they can even conceive children with each other!
Cohabitation, FTW, though I would expect it to some time to set in.
There's no justifiable reason to completely wipe out one side or the other, not that I expected Shiramine to want to wipe out his fellow humans, even though the vast majority of the ones portrayed in this timeline so far are fucked up in the head something fierce...
Humans are almost always the greater evil in these stories...

Highly doubt Diedhauser revealed everything to Shiramine, after all the shit that dude has pulled off, along with the fact how much control he has with the spread of information.

@faruq9854 I wouldn't just assume the catastrophe was human made. Often these stories include some kind of magic or dimensional invasion, and given how history has been warped and there are magic spells and techniques there might be some international magic nonsense going on.

Genocide: Still incredibly immoral
Collective punishment: Still a war crime
The idea of a Normal World: Still a fallacy of Assuming the Conclusion
Keeping populations of people in labor camps where they are sexually assaulted and worked to death: Still very evil
Creating inhumans for one's own uses, while trying to exterminate inhumans as invaders: Still incredibly hypocritical
Diedhauser: Still a villain

It's kind of sad that this is even a question.

@AnonymousWeeaboo I'm not saying that the catastrophe was man made but how the Holy Sword need real human to operate and who used it to pierce Fleonell

I wonder what using the Holy Sword to "fix" Earth entails. Turning everyone into a true blue human? Purging all Inhumans from the timeline? Making the planet green and blue again?

I'm going along with the what if here:
Just the CONCEPT of the genocide of an entire species - sentient or not - does NOT sit well with me, much less acting on it.
Like, damn, was there really no way we couldn't have seen eye to eye? Called each other friends at some point?

In that kind of scenario, humans would be the real monsters in my eyes, and I'd have to go seclude myself on an island or in the mountains somewhere.

I'm sorry but what does it change? In what way does a catastrophe unrelated to them and time changing to say they were ALWAYS here justify genociding them? It make no sense.

@AnonymousWeeaboo Who cares about the world coming back to 'normal'? The state of the world with the demi-human is just as 'normal' as the previous won and humanity is thriving in this current world and did so even more BEFORE the war.

Also if you want to genocide people just for your side the 'thrive' sorry but you're evil and you're the bad guy, there's no possible argument here. Genocide for your own benefit is bad.

Eh, I'm not getting back into something that's been dropped for 7 months. I wonder if that's ridiculous.

@cancerverse Nah, I thought I'd dropped this, but turns out I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. It's fine not to be in the mood for a mediocrely-drawn story that has an author who keeps trying to insert his fetishes where they don't belong and dumps panels of boring exposition that basically add up to nothing but flimsy excuses to pull a twist that stopped being original in 1968, when Planet of the Apes came out.

You know, Shiramine couldn't just tell them on the spot he's gonna refuse, could he? Won't be easy to escape around Diedhauser and both his flankies.

@BalrogDeMorgoth Well, I'd want the world to go back to normal. The world in its current state isn't normal at all, at least according to what I view of as normal. Saying that this state is normal is akin to saying if aliens came to Earth and destroyed the US or if we entered a nuclear winter after a third world war then the resulting wasteland would be normal, which might be true for those that came after but will never be true for those that were here before. The question is not about relations with these new species, it is about the survival of the human race and humans being able to rebuild and return to their previous lives.

@Phaaze Carthage delenda est. There are times in history when genocide is completely justified. It is not often, but it does occur.

from this chapter, the whole thing could just be the guy's delusions.
that aside, the so-called inhumans could very well be a phenomenon separate from the catastrophe. i didn't go over the lines closely but it seems like the world was saved specifically by this 're-writing'.

@AnonymousWeeaboo Except there's nothing to 'rebuild' and there is no 'after' so you're just making comparison that make no sense. Humanity has never been more advanced as in this world and demi-humans have always been there as far as the entier univers is concerned. There is and was absolutly no threat to humanity's survival.

Did you even read the manga?

> Oh shit. Everything began in the year 2022. After getting the vaccine, four ears and other race surfaced and began this transformation on the world...
Will we accept it or not?
