So, now it is less likely they were terrorizing the world and sealed away as a threat. Technically, they could have been driven mad by some unknown force, and were temporarily sealed away so the hero could deal with the manipulation, but if it was meant to be temporary regardless, sound far more protective of the demon&dragon queens since why would anyone care if they stayed locked up otherwise.

I thought this story was only gonna be about a boy trying to break his harem out of jail while engaging in magic academy hijinks. Color me surprised. This might be more unexpected than learning of the hero's proficiency in slave magic.

Nope, I just moved to a new house with terrible Wi-Fi, so the pages keep corrupting. I will continue to look through the chapter after I post it and fix any messed-up pages, so just wait a bit for MangaDex to update with the fixes.

I don't really mind, but for your own benefit you might want to check out powerline adapters which route your ethernet through the electric sockets. They're not fiber internet quality but if your Wi-Fi is the problem then it should be an improvement.

Also, I'm guessing the twist here is that the hero actually imprisoned those two for the purpose of training someone, and that was the reason the prison is no longer needed, because the MC has been trained. this implies there's some other big bad coming, given what I guess is the prison's purpose

+1 to this @PineappleZpeno , pre-powerline and post-powerline life is not the same. Unless you're getting up to 100mbps down speeds a powerline is great overall. Flawless and consistent connection which is wi-fi's main issue.

So original Hero might be either corrupted or not be a hero at all. If we go with current trends he'll be a bit of an edgelord who couldn't get over rejection or something. Not that I'm in a rush to find out, I guess his spiritual body will bang Ouka once he wins in a sword fight. Another master and skillset gained too kek.

I could get better internet, but it would cost like $10,000. So I'll just have to live with it.

I feel that. I moved to a more rural area so there are not many houses around us which makes ethernet not worth it for the companies. We can only get satellite internet and it sucks.

My guess: The hero sealed them away to protect them or prevent them from doing something foolish for whatever reason.
The threat is gone but the prison is not which either means the threat isn't as dead as hero & co. thought or another threat is still around.

Maybe this will turn into scooby-doo shenanigans where both sides try to trick each other into doing things as they want? Just a random thought or wishful thinking.
