It would be better to simply avoid all setting where the story takes place, but I guess then the story would either force the scenarios to occur or change the scenarios to fit the current area Verna is in

Interesting choice of art style(not that I'm complaining). The writing in this series leans more heavily toward world building, plot, and battles. Characters and character interactions are pretty straight forward for the most part so the more shoujo-esque art style seems like a rare choice. Also not too many female characters, but maybe this adaptation will incorporate more?
