The predictable route is she finishes her revenge and turns herself in or kills herself to be with her kid. And if the husband is still alive by that point will find her body in a spotlight of some sort in a symbolic pose.

I'm betting she herself will die at the end after she is finished with her revenge, usually in these murderous protag stories, they have the protag die a "karmic" death at the end.

It is very rare for them to allow the villanous protag to get away with it.

But I could be proven wrong so who knows.

If I remember right, both the mother and father didn't know about the bullying even after his death, the bullies faked "his" will to make the parents think it's their fault;
the mother just happened to see evidence the dead son recorded sometime later, and then she disappeared to act alone.
