That would be a premise to an entirely new story that I'd be weirdly intrigued with. Being able to see everyone's affections for you, but turns out they all hate your guts. By that point, would the MC give up on love, or work on himself enough to at least gain some acceptance from his peers? I'd probably read that.

I feel like the meters aren't good if every female has them. Like seeing it in real time means its just are they neutral, happy, or pissed at me at each moment like I can almost guarantee dog and mom are NOT romantic, but they look the same as classmates. And we saw how for one girl he picked something out of her hair which made hers fly up meaning flustered not in love...
i.e. we have misunderstanding the manga but without the MC being too dense
