People underestimate the intuition of dogs. The otherwise antisocial dog was friendly with him right out the gate, which speaks volumes about his character.

Then, he came by to pet and play with the dog every day despite having a job. Doing so during his commute to work, no less.

And then after hearing the dog had passed, rather than half-hearted sympathies for total strangers he went out of his way to buy a bouquet. One with extra thought put into it to best represent the departed canine.

Upstanding character, good with pets, and a strong capacity for empathy and kindness? Pretty sure that's what like 90% of people look for in a partner.
