Let me guess, at some point his sister will get kidnapped by some sect all girls sect, that train in some kind of ice cultivation. The sister has the super duper rare magical ice body, and that's the reason they kidnapped her. Then the MC trains to go and save her. Then when he gets there, they weren't so evil after all, and actually saved her. The super magical ice body appears to be lethal if she doesn't cultivate it.

I'm giving it at least a 50% chance for the story to go in that direction. Because things like that happen in pretty much every other martial arts comic.
