I think its just a tad bland. MC is basically a demigod so its pretty boring watching him solve everything instantly.

Side character writing is more interesting than most slop of the same caliber, but the art isn't very eye-catching.

Yeah, if he swapped with Diana, she'd maybe be able to whip Alan into shape. They both play the role of seniors, senpais, basically babysitters assigned to their respective parties - as seen in this chapter especially, and in chapter 6 where the king would rather talk to Ishua than Alan.

I think that it's also just incredibly cliche/paint by numbers.

-bland, boring "aww shucks I'm nothing special" overpowered super MC who can use his allegedly very narrow skill set to solve any problem instantly while also being totally self-effacing and humble-beyond-reason.

-predictable gaggle of girls who all quietly swoon over him to varying degrees while he remains painfully oblivious to all of it

-named "hero" character who is a massive selfish, arrogant prick that refuses to accept responsibility for his own failings and whose biggest fault isn't necessarily that he's a terrible person, it's that he's a terrible person who is also not good at his job and refuses to admit it/know his place

-Otherwise generic background story (eternal war between the "good" kingdoms and the demons with little to no texture to either side

It's nothing that you haven't seen if you've read any other isekai/reincarnator/"I was secretly the strongest" series. And maybe even done better if you've read enough to be exposed to some of the better versions of the stories that try something a little different.

It's not bad and I'll probably keep reading because I'm a sucker for this sort of slop as long as it doesn't become insultingly dumb. But I can easily see this having a low threshold of "nahh, this is so vanilla it hurts. I'm out"
