Everything about this chapter doesn’t make sense. First that girl is still all over him after she supposedly felt bad. Then Makebe doesn’t even try to avoid her. For some reason Aki can leave college to harass this other girl but can’t to visit Makabe when he’s a broke college student. Then he’s not even shocked when Aki shows up.

Seriously, why is this writing profitable in Japan is beyond me, it'd be fine to a new series but my god Masamune already spanned across 11 volumes and we've seen enough of him to know he CAN'T be this stupid. Not even Shomin Sample's LN ending is worse than this.

I mean honestly I don't understand what goes through people's minds but the only other acceptable ending to this series apart from Aki X Masamune is literally Masamune ending up sad and alone reflecting on the author's stupidity for a) destroying his character growth from all those volumes in only 9 chapters of a manga that shouldn't exist and b) milking a series that should have ended at that rooftop scene talking about summer plans... Nobody should have asked for this.
